I can't help but get a big smile on my face each time I see a personalized envelope sitting so merrily in my mailbox! I love every single thing about Christmas cards...the fact that someone (perhaps on the other side of the world) thought about Chris & I and wanted to send us a little holiday cheer, the beautiful pictures that capture the happy memories of our family and friends, the festive colors, and the sweet sayings. I'm looking for a really cute, crafty way to display them...got any suggestions? At the end of the season we make place-mats out of them (I'll post a pic when I complete them!), but I'm wanting to find a way to showcase them before then. If you have any crafty ideas, I'm all ears! AND, keep those cards coming...they make me smile :)
PS ~ Thanks to the Jen's for your suggestions of more songs! Unfortunately, playlist.com has not come to love Mr. Strait as I do, but I did find WHAM...gotta love it :)

It may not be what you're looking for, but I just got a really neat card/photo holder from Southern Living at Home. Let me know if you're interested, and I can send you the info on it.
And...if you haven't received it already, our card is in the mail to your side of the world! We received yours, and we absolutely loved it. Thanks for thinking of us! Miss ya!
I have a wreath card holder that hangs on the wall. Pottery Barn at one point made a really cute Christmas tree card holder that also hangs on the wall. I don't think they make it anymore...but there is ebay. Regardless you aren't going to get any of those before Christmas : ) I have seen people who tape the cards around a door frame which is pretty cool. Kim hangs her from a string along the staircase...but you could do over the sliding doors??? Just some ideas!
Wendy, Costco has a small Tree (card holder)but I don't think Costco would help ya'll much over there. My parents use to tape them to the door/wall. We cut the pics and put them in clear magnetic frames on our fridge.
I can't wait to see your placemat.
Oh - I've also been given the idea to save each card and each day of the new year, pray for one card/family each day.
What if you went to a supply store and bought a sheet of tin - and then cut it on the shape of a tree. You could use magnets to hold them on. Or make one out of felt and tack them on
ps - your Christmas card is so precious. The two of you ooze happiness!
