Is it too early to start thinking about 1st birthday party themes?? I asked Chris which one he liked better: Ladybugs or Cupcakes. His response: Can I choose neither?
I'm still really liking ladybugs! What do y'all think? Any ideas?
I like ladybugs! And, no, it's not too early. I started planning Drew's way in a advance too. It takes time to pick out the perfect invitations and gather the guest list, etc!!!
Umm, seeing as I had Griffin's completely planned when he was like 6 months old, you are NOT too early!!! ;) Jessalyn's first birthday was ladybug themed and it was really cute!! I have never seen a cupcake themed one, but it sounds really cute as well!
Um... it makes me happy to hear that I'm not the only one! I have been planning in my mind for months and have started collecting some items! I love the lady bug idea... but cupcakes are cute too! I am doing a "You are my sunshine" theme... pink, yellow and orange tutu and all! :)
Taylor, that sounds sooo precious! For Elli's 2 year birthday I'm doing "Tu-Tu Cute". Yes, I know, I find it odd that I've planned that her 2nd one before her 1st one too! I am so glad to hear that I'm not completely crazy though...I think Chris's comments are getting in my head. Boys just don't understand! Ha!
Well, I thought I had Emme's planned, but I am starting to think I should push that idea to her 2nd bday (Alice in Wonderland Tea Party). I have found so many cute things for this, but I think she might appreciate it more if she was just a little older. Hmm, back to square one for me, and I only have a mere 6 months left to plan! Tee hee, you are not alone!
What about Burt & Ernie since you said she likes them. She may have a first word by then. Elle's first birthday was kitty themed because it was her first word (& sign).
I'm a Southern girl at heart, attempting to make our home wherever the Air Force sends us! I married my handsome hubs in 2006, and we've since added 2 sweet babes to our little family. In the midst of deployments and separations, we find joy in the time we have together. So pull up a chair and get comfy... I'd love to spend a little time getting to know you!
